STEARIC ACID
Stearic acid contains several large long-chain fatty acids from fats and oils. Stearic acid is used as an emulsifier in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry, as an auxiliary in textiles, in candles and crayons. In rubber, it acts as an accelerator and softening activator. It is also used as internal lubricant, mould release agent and surface lubricant in rubber.
